What we hold, and what we never see.

What we never receive

The AEOIkit tool runs in your browser, on your computer. The account data you enter or import, and the returns you generate, stay on your machine. We never receive them.

What we hold

• Order details: your organisation name, FI number(s), licensed reporting year, email address, and your answer to “how did you hear about us”, if you gave one.
• Licence records: the licence ID, issue and renewal dates, and when your copy was downloaded, and from which IP address, country and browser, so we can apply the refund policy.
• Email: if you buy, or ask to be kept posted and confirm, we keep your email address with the details above in our own records (hosted by Cloudflare) and send you your licence, renewal reminders or the updates you asked for ourselves, from our Microsoft 365 mailbox. We do not use a third-party mailing-list service. Every update and renewal reminder has an unsubscribe link.

Payments

Card payments are taken by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle receives your payment and billing details under its own privacy notice; we never see your card details. Paddle’s checkout script (from cdn.paddle.com) is the only third-party script on this site, and it loads only on the payment step.

Where it is kept, and for how long

This site and our licence records are hosted by Cloudflare. We keep order and licence records for as long as we need them to provide your licence and renewals, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We keep download records for the life of your licence plus 18 months, then delete them.

We handle personal data in line with the Cayman Islands Data Protection Act. To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, email [email protected]. The data controller is Techie Ltd, registered office P.O. Box 10001, 80 Poindexter Rd, George Town KY1-1001, Cayman Islands.
