Is there software that just builds my CRS return for me?
Yes. AEOIkit builds the CRS XML return for you. You enter or import the account data in a form laid out like the retired DITC tool. AEOIkit checks it and writes the Schema v3.0 XML file, ready to upload to the DITC Portal. It runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install and your account data never leaves your machine. A licence is CI$1,500 per FI per reporting year.
What you do, and what it does
- You provide the account data, by typing it into the tabs or importing a CSV.
- AEOIkit checks it against the v3.0 schema rules and the business rules, and lists every problem in plain language.
- You fix what the list flags. Drafts can be saved for a reviewer.
- AEOIkit writes the v3.0 XML file, with MessageRefId and DocRefId following the DITC conventions.
- You upload it to the DITC Portal when CRS XML submission reopens, anticipated in early 2027, by 30 June 2027 (DITC advisory, 17 June 2026).
Why you no longer get this for free
The DITC provided a generator at no charge for earlier schema versions. With the move to v3.0 it no longer provides one (DITC advisory, 17 June 2026). The DITC has not said why. In our own review, the old workbook’s Windows-only macros and v2.0 structure would have needed a rebuild for v3.0. More on what the retirement means.
If you want someone else to file it
AEOIkit builds the file, and you, or the firm that files for you, upload it. If you would rather hand over the whole filing, administrators and corporate-services firms offer that as a service. Intermediary licences cover from 10 to 100 FIs in one copy.
Price
CI$1,500 per FI per reporting year (charged as US$1,800); for 2–9 FIs, each additional FI is CI$750 (US$900). Intermediary licences start at CI$8,000 for 10 FIs. Early-bird: 20% off first-year licences ordered by 31 December 2026. Pay by card through Paddle, our merchant of record, or email us for an invoice or wire. See pricing.
