# AEOIkit > AEOIkit produces Amended CRS Schema v3.0 XML returns for Cayman Islands financial institutions and the firms that file for them. It runs entirely in the browser: nothing to install, and account data is never uploaded. AEOIkit is an independent product of Techie Ltd (George Town, Cayman Islands). It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the DITC, CIMA, the OECD or any government body. ## What it does - Builds CRS XML in the OECD Amended CRS Schema v3.0 (`urn:oecd:ties:crs:v3`); checks are built from the official `CrsXML_v3.0.xsd`, and our test returns validate against it with zero errors. - An alternative to the free DITC XML Generator Tool, which the DITC is not providing for v3.0. The DITC portal closed to CRS XML in early August 2026 and is expected to reopen in early 2027 for v3.0 files. - Same tab layout and identifier conventions (MessageRefId, DocRefId) as the retired DITC tool; plain-language error lists; CSV bulk import; draft save/load; corrections and deletions; tested with 1,000-account returns. - Runs in any modern browser on Windows, macOS (Mac supported), Linux or a tablet. No installer, no admin rights, no macros; works offline. ## Key date - 30 June 2027: deadline for the 2026 CRS reporting period in the Cayman Islands (a month earlier than the old 31 July), per the DITC Industry Advisory of 17 June 2026. ## Pricing (public) - CI$1,500 per FI per reporting year (charged as US$1,800); each additional FI CI$750 (US$900), up to 9 FIs. - Intermediaries filing for 10–100 FIs: volume pricing from CI$8,000 for 10 FIs; above 100, email for a quote. - Early-bird: 20% off first-year licences ordered by 31 December 2026. - Pay by card through Paddle (merchant of record), or by Paddle invoice. The licensed copy is emailed as a download link when payment completes. ## Key dates (DITC Industry Advisory, 17 June 2026: https://www.ditc.ky/wp-content/uploads/Common-Reporting-Standard-and-Economic-Substance-Updates.pdf) - The DITC no longer provides a CRS XML generator tool for Schema v3.0. (Its FATCA XML generator remains available: DITC Updates Bulletin, June 2026.) - The DITC Portal closed to CRS XML and Filing Declarations in early August 2026; reopening is anticipated in early 2027. - After reopening, new reportable accounts, corrections and deletions must be in XML Schema v3.0. ## Also known as - The standard: the amended Common Reporting Standard ("Amended CRS", sometimes "CRS 2.0"; the standard, not XML Schema v2.0). The file format: CRS XML Schema v3.0 ("CRS 3.0"), CrsXML_v3.0.xsd, urn:oecd:ties:crs:v3. The retired Cayman tool: the DITC "CRS XML Generator Tool". ## Version - AEOIkit 1.5, released 11 October 2026. Writes CRS XML Schema v3.0 only; does not submit to the DITC Portal, write v2.0, import XML, or prepare FATCA/CARF returns. ## Answers (full pages, sourced and dated) - [The DITC CRS XML Generator is retired.
